Bear Necessities can work with you in one of two ways. We can provide you with a complete design, supply & installation solution, or we can simply specify and deliver the items that you require on a supply only basis.

Supply and Installation

For installations we use a mix of our own employees and reliable, tried and trusted sub-contractors.

Generally we only take on complete installations which involves the removal of the old bathroom/shower suite if applicable, re-plastering and re- tiling and fitting the new bathroom equipment including any electrical needs, for example lighting and extractor fans. This enables Bear Necessities to provide you with the quality of service and workmanship you would expect.

Please call us on 01666 840024 to check if you're in our installation area and arrange an appointment for a house call. Stedman Nicholas, will make plans to visit you, to measure up and discuss your requirements. This will more than likely be early evening on a Monday or Friday. However, we can work around a day time appointment if required.

Usually a visit to our showroom is useful at this stage to confirm your product specification. This information is then used to provide you with an initial quotation.

If you then wish to go ahead you will need be to booked into our installation schedule. This can range from a 4 week lead-time - up to 10-12 weeks depending on the time of year. Most installation jobs are usually completed within a 2 week period, though due to the nature of the work and different trades involved there may well be days when there are no workmen at your home.

Supply only

For the supply only, of individual items or complete bathrooms, you can obviously still benefit from our advice & experience. If it helps you, and you are local, we will be happy to come out on a visit to assess your needs and ensure that the right equipment is ordered for you.

The equipment that we supply is generally on good delivery lead-times, with most items into us within 5-10 working days. Special order items can take up 4-6 weeks.

We will then advise you when your goods have arrived so that you can collect or arrange a day to deliver your order to you. Delivery is usually free within our coverage area and will normally be on Tuesday or Thursday.
